At The Halo Academy, we educate your apprentices through their Level 2 NVQ in a friendly, fair and creative environment. Under the guidance of City and Guilds, we marry the creative mindset of a leading stylist with the foresight to spot trends and shifts in consumer demands, allowing our students to become determined, creative thinkers. Our educators place communication first, speaking with you as the salon owner to understand the demands and requirements of your salon and its growth over the forthcoming years, so we can feed your students’ specialisms into the course based on how you see your staff and client demands shifting as you grow.
At Halo, we teach all our students a 9-level consultation process, an adaptive and seamless approach to welcome new clients while making them feel at home once they step into the salon. It is this in-house curated consultation process that saw us nominated for the National Hair Federation’s Best Client Experience Award 2018.
Under our NVQ education syllabus, we implement extra educational landmarks to ensure each apprentice is equipped not only with the skills to become a successful and in-demand stylist, but with the qualities that allow a young adult to respond to shifting consumer demands.
We teach students how to leverage the power of social media and how to communicate efficiently with customers, and we invite guests in for supplementary modules to teach them new skills. One week, for example, we may invite a guest photographer to teach students how to take professional photographs in varying light to showcase the best colour and texture, so they can curate their professional portfolio and in turn build the client base of your salon.
Qualified senior stylists are taken under the Halo wing to complete their Level 3 NVQ. Committed and experienced educators guide your stylist through their Diploma, communicating with you regularly so you understand the progress your staff member is making, ready for their graduation into the industry.
Should a member of your team be preparing to return to your salon after time outside the industry, whether coming back from maternity leave or simply rediscovering their passion for the craft, The Halo Academy caters for these situations. Through our Private Course initiative we guide your stylist, or your whole team should a refresher course be wanted, through a specialised course governed by a specialist assessment organisation. Each module can be designed for salon-specific needs, and we work closely with you to design a course that meets the gap in your salon staff base.
An agent replies straight away, whether you message here, start a chat, email or call. For appointments, Book Consultation takes you straight to the diary.
